Story
A maniac named Art the Clown terrorizes his two friends and everyone in his path on Halloween. David Howard Thornton was the sixth to take on Art Clown after Mike Giannelli retired from the role and acting. As he listened, he began to taste the blood of his butchered victim, adding salt to make it taste better. In the shots where Tara is being taped, in some earlier shots the tape is clearly not touching the bottom of her mouth, while in other shots it is tightly around both lips. This movie really needed a PLOT
And the characters, some people to root for. Instead, the poor pacing, lack of suspense, and tension made for a kind of boring movie experience. Yes, Art is a crazy, evil killer clown. If that’s all you want, you’ll see him maiming, killing, and tearing people apart. The problem is, she’s going to hurt someone—a woman nearly sprains her ankle, and in the next scene she’s running.
People hit their heads
and later get up and run. It doesn’t really make much sense, and since Art seems to pop up in more places than possible, it’s never a surprise – overdone. The director clearly knew the story was weak, so Art pops up every few minutes to attack someone. It’s really disappointing because there was some potential in the shorts, but when Art is given a whole movie, it’s boring and predictable. I’m sure there will be another one – I hope the script gets as much attention as the terrible effects.
