Story
Paddington returns to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now lives at the Bear Retirement Home. As the Brown family moves forward, a thrilling adventure ensues as a mystery takes them on an unexpected journey. Paul King, the director of the previous two films, decided not to direct this part. However, he proposed the idea for this third film and was involved as an executive producer. Followed by Paddington (2014). Paddington Peru is a great, enjoyable film, but it is the weakest of the 3 Paddington films. It looks great on the big screen, the sets and locations are beautiful and the bear CGI looks great. The acting and story are great, nothing groundbreaking or better than the previous two films, but this third one lacks the charm of those two. I had a good time watching it though. It had some fun moments and is a fun family movie. It’s a bit silly at times, which would have worked if there was some charm. All in all, still a great film worth seeing in the cinema.
