Story
It follows the titular superhero as he reconciles his heritage with his human upbringing. He is the epitome of truth, justice and the American way in a world that sees it as old-fashioned. James Gunn tweeted that his father’s death influenced the script. The film’s release date of 11 July 2025 was his father’s birthday. When James Gunn originally finished the first draft of the script, he called the film Superman: Legacy. By the time he finished the final draft, it was clear to him that the title was SUPERMAN. He appeared in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Characters: The End of a Pokémon Master (2022).
